SEO and inclusive writing: excuse my French

Google has a very hard time adjusting to some changes in copy aimed at making content more inclusive. Some governments have decided to ban inclusive writing altogether as it is deemed a mortal threat to their language (direct quote from the French academy). In some Latin languages, feminization of exclusively male job titles is encouraged instead and the results are truly abominable when it comes to online visibility for women and non-binary folks. For the past 15 years, I have been an SEO specialist and not an expert. Why? Because a « spécialiste » in French is gender-neutral. An « expert SEO » has more search volume than a « spécialiste » but as a female, I would be forced to refer to myself as an « experte SEO » which has the lowest search volume of them all.
